A 42-year-old Aurora man spent the night in a snow cave in Eagle County and waved down a National Guard helicopter looking for him this morning.
Anthony Bowerman was rescued in the White River National Forest shortly after 8 a.m.
The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office, Vail Mountain Rescue Group and the two Blackhawk helicopter crews from Colorado National Guard were searching for him after he was separated his skiing group.
