In a story March 23, The Associated Press reported that Gannett Co. is asking newspaper employees making more than $90,000 annually to take two weeks of unpaid leave before July. In an update to the AP on March 24, Gannett said that policy applies to all its newspapers except USA Today. At its flagship newspaper, the two weeks of unpaid leave will be limited to the top 15 percent of salaried employees.
