DENVER—Two female ski jumpers who are suing to participate in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics hope to meet with International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge.

World champion Lindsey Van of the United States and Canadian national team member Katie Willis want the IOC to reconsider its 2006 decision to bar female ski jumpers from the 2010 Games. They hope to meet with Rogge in Denver on Wednesday.

Fifteen ski jumpers are suing because only male jumpers are allowed to compete in the Vancouver Olympics. The IOC says women’s ski jumping doesn’t have enough international competitions to merit inclusion.

If the IOC doesn’t reconsider its stance, the lawsuit filed last May against Vancouver organizers will be heard April 20 in the British Columbia Supreme Court.
