GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction woman has been ordered to repay nearly $639,000 she was accused of embezzling from her employer.
Thirty-five-year-old Amber Butler was ordered Wednesday pay at least $15,000 a year to Lindauer & Dunn Inc., a Grand Junction engineering firm.
Mesa County District Judge Valerie Robison says Butler will have to serve a 12-year prison sentence if she fails to make restitution.
Butler worked for the company from 2002 to 2008 preparing payroll and purchasing office supplies.
