BILLINGS, Mont. — A coalition of Wyoming livestock and outfitting groups plans to sue the federal government over a recent decision to keep the state’s gray wolves on the endangered-species list.
Wolves will come off the list next month in Montana and Idaho — but not Wyoming, which federal officials say lacks adequate laws to protect the predators.
Wyoming Attorney General Bruce Salzburg already has said he plans to challenge that decision.
