Marion McMillan, 61, former president of Bank of Durango, and his wife, Cheryl, 56, former vice president and chief cashier at the bank, pleaded guilty to tax-evasion charges Friday.
The couple, who live in Kansas, will be sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Christine Arguello on July 31. They were charged with filing fraudulent tax returns.
Embezzlements by Cheryl McMillan from the bank resulted in undeclared income of $102,731.15 in 2003 and $125,169.14 in 2004, according to the plea agreements.
