COLORADO SPRINGS — Focus on the Family has fired an employee who was charged last week with two felonies for allegedly using the Internet to solicit sex from an underage girl.
On April 2, Juan Alberto Ovalle, 42, started chatting online with someone he thought was a girl under the age of 15 but was actually an undercover police officer, according to a document filed with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
When he attempted to meet with the girl in Lakewood, he was arrested, police said.
