LINCOLN, Neb.—The Nebraska football team should have a deep defensive line next year.
Defensive coordinator Carl Pelini says the team had a physical 2 1/2-hour practice inside on Monday.
Ndamukong Suh, Jared Crick, Baker Steinkuhler and Terrence Moore will probably all play at defensive tackle, but Suh and Crick control the starting spots.
Pelini says the defensive backs have improved a great deal through the spring. He says it seems like a different corner steps up and makes a play every day.
Pelini says many of the Cornhuskers are tired and sore because the spring practices have been physical. The practices will culminate on Saturday with the spring game.
