LAKEWOOD — A fire in the 8400 block of West Colfax Avenue caused severe damage to a storefront in a strip mall Friday night.
Heavy smoke and flames could be seen shooting out from Rockley Warehouse about 6 p.m.
Fire crews had the blaze under control in 20 minutes, but the warehouse was severely damaged. Other stores in the strip mall received only smoke damage, according to Michelle French of the West Metro Fire Protection District.
