COLLEGE STATION, Texas—Kyle Thebeau gave up just one run in seven innings and Joe Patterson had a career-high four hits while driving in two runs, helping Texas A&M beat Nebraska 10-1 on Sunday.
Texas (25-14, 11-7 Big 12) had five-runs in the second and fourth innings. David Alleman, Brooks Raley and Luke Anders had two RBIs apiece while Brodie Greene and Caleb Shofner each had one. Patterson had singles in the second, third, fourth and seventh innings.
Adam Bailey drove in the lone run for Nebraska (17-21, 4-14). Casey Hauptman (2-4) gave up seven runs and eight hits over 3 1-3 innings for the loss.
Thebeau (2-1) scattered four hits and struck out four batters in the win.
