COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a Colorado Springs man at his apartment.
Officers arrested 19-year-old Zachary Joseph Brockmann on Wednesday afternoon, several hours after police say he was involved in a home invasion at Park Terrace Apartments.
Authorities say Brockmann knocked on an apartment door about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday and demanded money from a man who answered the door. When the man said he didn’t have any, Brockmann allegedly stabbed the man in the abdomen and the arm.
The injured resident was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police say Brockmann could face attempted murder charges.
