COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—Landon Donovan’s goal in the 82nd minute helped the Los Angeles Galaxy salvage a 1-1 tie with the Rapids in chilly Colorado on Saturday night.
Donovan took advantage of a Rapids defensive lapse for the Galaxy (0-1-4), who have still yet to win a game this season.
Colin Clark scored Colorado’s lone goal in the 60th minute when he took a pass from Omar Cummings. Clark used his left foot to beat Galaxy defender Todd Dunivant and slot the ball past goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts.
The Rapids (2-2-2) dominated the match, but could not convert opportunities aside from Clark’s goal.
