HELENA, Mont.—A Colorado junior college transfer has signed to play women’s basketball with Carroll College.
Carroll women’s basketball coach Shawn Nelson on Monday announced the signing of Otero Junior College point guard Alex Dunn.
Dunn played prep basketball at Hunter High School in Salt Lake City, where she earned 1st team all-region during her junior and senior seasons.
At Otero this past season, Dunn led her team to a 21-9 record and a trip to the Region IX Tournament. She started all 30 games this past season and averaged nine points per game, was the second leading rebounder at five per game, averaged four assists and two steals per game.
Dunn will have two years of eligibility for the Carroll Fighting Saints and was the first in this year’s class to sign.
