A 53-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday after a crash on the Western Slope.
Sheryl Williams was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson about 7 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 50 about 9 miles west of Delta when the bike drifted and hit a guardrail, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
Williams, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle down a rocky embankment.
