The former coordinator of an annual Denver toy drive has been found not guilty of sexually assaulting a teenager.
U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Kelly Farrington of Brighton was acquitted Thursday after a two-day jury trial in Jefferson County Court.
Farrington was arrested last year in San Diego on a warrant issued in Arvada. Arvada police said after his arrest that the alleged assault happened in 2001 but was reported years later.
