ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo.—Authorities say the woman who died in a car fire in Rocky Mountain National Park was 55-year-old Connie Jean Fanning, who had homes in Arvada and Grand Lake.

Park officials said Thursday the Grand County coroner ruled the death accidental. They say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The burned-out 2008 toyota Camry was found last week beside U.S. 34 just south of the Kawuneeche (cow-wuh-nee-chee) Visitor Center near Grand Lake.
