Paper Route, above, was great last week at the Black Sheep, but the Nashville band was upstaged by locals the Epilogues, who put on an excellent show. Photos by .
It was a pretty thin crowd at on Wednesday, but that didn’t stop and from putting on a great show. Paper Route was pretty good, and I’m a fan of their music. But it was the Epilogues who stole the night. Their energy was infectious. When they broke out with “King Arthur,” just about everyone was moving to the music.
The opening band, Colorado Springs locals , was adorable — although I would guess that’s not how they would prefer to be described. It was their very first gig, and you could tell they were a little nervous. But they managed pretty well.
