Aurora police today released the name of a motorcyclist killed in a crash on Wednesday.
Douglas Garneau, 52, of Aurora was riding a Harley Davidson when the bike collided with a Ford Mustang in the intersection of Havana Street and East First Avenue.
He died from his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Police said the traffic signals were yellow when the Mustang turned left in front of the motorcycle.
The driver of the Mustang, Fidencio Herrera-Olague, 28, remains in the Aurora Detention Facility in lieu of $10,000 bail on charges of careless driving resulting in death, driving with a revoked license and failure to yield the right of way.
