Traffic was moving smoothly along Interstate 25 Tuesday evening, but it all slowed down in the Denver Tech Center. The reason for the delay was unusual, 9News reports.

A family of geese ended up on the highway, and there was nowhere for them to go.

So, two law enforcement officers, assisted by some good Samaritans, guided the geese all the way from I-25 and East Arapahoe Road to the off-ramp at East Dry Creek Road.

With lights flashing, the caravan managed to get the geese to safety in a drainage pond near the Drury Inn.
