Authorities today released a sketch of a man on a motorcycle who has threatened and robbed women at gunpoint.
At least two victims have come forward, and the Loveland Police Department and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office are jointly investigating the incidents in which a man on a motorcycle threatened women who were driving cars.
The first happened March 21 on South Railroad Avenue near Barnes Park in Loveland. Police said a motorcyclist pointed a handgun at a woman, demanded her cellphone and made sexual demands. The woman drove away and was not harmed.
The second incident was May 14 in the 3300 block of Douglas Avenue in Loveland. The gun-packing motorcycle driver stole a woman’s purse and cellphone. He also made sexual demands in the second holdup, police said.
Although the victims in the two cases were uninjured, police consider the man dangerous, according to a media release.
The robber is described as white, 30 to 40 years old with a large build. He was wearing dark-colored pants, a dark jacket and dark motorcycle helmet at the time of the robberies. He also had a dark-colored motorcycle.
Anyone with information on the incidents or a possible suspect is as asked to call Loveland police at 970-962-2032.
