AURORA, Colo.—Two men suspected in the shooting death of a man police say may have also been run over by a car are now in custody.
Aurora police say they arrested 33-year-old Harrel Gene Keeling Jr. Friday night and 33-year-old Leland Peter Richardson surrendered to authorities at the Arapahoe County jail Saturday night.
Police Detective Bob Friel said Monday both men are being held without bond and are under investigation for the death of 23-year-old Miguel Angel Chavez.
Chavez was found dead in a residential street in Aurora May 17.
Keeling and Richardson are expected in court Tuesday morning.
