An apparently able-bodied bank robber made his getaway in a pickup truck with a handicapped plates in Fort Collins today.
Police are looking for the man who robbed the Western States Bank on North College Avenue about 3:30 p.m.
He drove away in a newer model black Chevrolet Silverado full sized pickup. Witnesses got a tag number — 174369 — but not the state of its issue.
The robber is described as white, in his 30s or 40s, about five feet, nine inches tall with a medium build.
He wore a baseball cap, a long-sleeved shirt and dark pants, police said.
