OMAHA, Neb.—All the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s sports will be broadcast on the university’s public radio station next school year.
Athletics Director Trev Alberts says KVNO will broadcast all the Maverick football and hockey games on 90.7 FM and online at . Most of the university’s basketball games also will be broadcast.
Gail Baker in UNO’s communications school says the arrangement will allow students to gain valuable experience by working on the sports broadcasts.
