• Because of a reporting error, a story that appeared Sunday on Page 1B incorrectly described the ownership of Lutheran and Good Samaritan medical centers. They are owned by the nonprofit Exempla Inc.

• Because of a reporting error, the date for the Great Book Giveaway was incorrect in Saturday’s SaleInsider column on Page 2D. The sale is June 14.

• Because of a reporting error, a story that appeared on Page 1B on Wednesday and an editorial that appeared on Page 10B on Saturday incorrectly described the nature of the Gateway Center in Commerce City. The center includes commercial and retail development, a civic center, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, sports fields, open space and parks. In 2010, a visitor center and an environmental learning center for the Rocky Mountain National Wildlife Refuge will open there.

• In Joanne Davidson’s June 2 column on Page 2D, Jill Farquhar, who was honored as a Triumphant Woman of 2009 by the Excelsior Youth Center, was incorrectly listed as part of a group of women who overcame growing up in poor or dysfunctional families. Farquhar, who surmounted a different set of challenging circumstances, was recognized for her contributions to several area nonprofit organizations that help people in transitional housing and foster care.
