Police are looking for the driver of a car who fled after hitting and killing a woman as she crossed Sheridan Boulevard about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The woman was crossing in the 2000 block of Sheridan with two other people when she was struck, said Sonny Jackson, spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
Jackson said investigators are hoping to obtain a good description of the vehicle.
Police have not released the age or identity of the woman.
