LINCOLN, Neb.—A former Nebraska football player is being sought on a warrant after he missed a court appearance.
Ex-Husker Major Culbert is charged with maintaining a disorderly house, a charge stemming from a wild party at the home he shared with two other people.
When Culbert missed court last week, prosecutors added a charge for that, and the judge issued the warrant for his arrest.
The 21-year-old was kicked off the football team in March for undisclosed reasons.
Culbert played in seven games in 2008 and made 10 tackles as a safety.
On Tuesday, a warrant for the arrest of a current Nebraska player, Quentin Castille, was recalled after he showed up in court to face traffic charges. He had missed a hearing Monday.
