AURORA — A 49-year-old Denver woman faces first-degree murder charges related to a shooting in Aurora on Wednesday afternoon. Velma Lee Gilbert is being held without bond in the Arapahoe County Jail. The man, who died of a gunshot to his upper body, has not been named.
