BOULDER — Alex Midyette will serve his 16-year prison sentence at the medium-level Fort Lyon Correctional Facility, about 90 miles from where his wife is also doing time behind bars.
The couple, formerly of Louisville, were convicted separately for not getting medical help in time to save their 11-week-old son, Jason, who died in 2006 with multiple broken bones and a skull fracture.
Molly Midyette, 30, has been imprisoned at La Vista Correctional Facility in Pueblo since she was sentenced in April 2008.
Alex Midyette, 30, was sentenced May 15.
