The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is warning people not to eat raw Nestle Toll House cookie dough because of possible E. coli contamination.

The state health department says 66 cases from 28 states have been identified, including five in Colorado. The cases are in Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld counties.

Two of the people have been hospitalized, and one has developed a severe complication. At least four of the sick people in Colorado had eaten the raw cookie dough in the week before they became ill.
