A woman pushing a baby in a stroller has been arrested at the Calexico border crossing into the United States for allegedly transporting 10 pounds of marijuana concealed beneath the infant, according to federal Customs and Border Protection officials.
The 27-year-old U.S. citizen from Seeley, Calif., was arrested Tuesday and charged with drug smuggling. Her name was not released. The baby’s relatives took custody of the child.
