WASHINGTON — The House approved legislation Tuesday that is intended to prevent delays in federal financing for veterans’ health care programs, a problem that has disrupted Department of Veterans Affairs services for decades, officials say.
The bill, a top priority of veterans groups, would allow Congress to appropriate funds for veterans health programs one year in advance.
