A would-be robber who demanded money from a Loveland man Monday night fled when the victim told him his wallet was empty.

According to police reports, the victim was walking near 37th Street and Logan Avenue in central Loveland around 10 p.m. when a man wearing a blue bandana that covered his face from the nose down approached him.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, and between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.

He was wearing a dark shirt and dark pants and white shoes. The victim described the man as being African-American or Hispanic.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call detectives at 970-962-2032.
