Megan Nicolay never met a basic T-shirt she couldn’t turn into something more stylish: a halter top, skirt, gloves or a dress. She showed many such projects in her first book and is now out with a second, “Generation T: Beyond Fashion” (Workman, $15.95), which features 120 projects that use T-shirts to make such things as baby and housewarming gifts, accessories, pet beds and laptop sleeves. Nicolay will be presenting and demonstrating projects at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tattered Cover Colfax, 2526 E. Colfax Ave. Bring a T-shirt or two so you can create a project of your own.
