A Frontier Airlines jet originating in Denver hit a large bird Sunday while on approach to Kansas City International Airport.
The bird struck the right wing of Frontier Flight 825, leaving a large dent on the leading edge of the wing.
The crew was able to land safely, and no injuries were reported.
The Airbus A319, which had been scheduled for a return flight to Denver, was pulled from service. Passengers were rebooked on other flights.
