PAPILLION, Neb.—Three brothers with connections to University of Nebraska football have been fined after pleading guilty in a January altercation outside a bowling alley in the Omaha suburb of Papillion (pul-PIHL’-yuhn).
DeAntae (DAHN’-tay), Cortney and Ronnell Grixby each pleaded guilty to attempting to make terroristic threats. Each was fined $250.
DeAntae played for the Huskers from 2000 to 2003. Cortney ended his Husker career after the 2007 season. Ronnell was a walk-on who had to sit out the 2008 season because of a heart problem.
Police have said a dispute broke out Jan. 18 between one of the brothers and the mother of his child.
