— Colorado Highway 52 bridge over Boulder Creek in Boulder County will be replaced. Built in 1963, it’s considered structurally deficient but isn’t among the state’s worst.

— Two bridges along Interstate 76 in Commerce City are being replaced. They’re ranked among the state’s worst with sufficiency ratings in the 20s.

— The Alameda Avenue bridge over Interstate 25 in Denver is being replaced with additional lanes in each direction. It’s considered to be in fair condition with a sufficiency rating of 67. The state plans to later replace nearby bridges over I-25 at Santa Fe Drive with ratings in the 20s. Transportation officials say the Alameda bridge has to be fixed first to properly align the rest of the project.
