A woman who was attacked by her boyfriend sent a text message to a friend to get help, police said.
The incident happened about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the Sand Creek area of Colorado Springs, police said.
Officers were called by the friend after the friend received a text message that read: “Help Me.” When police arrived, they found the woman who sent the message suffering from “multiple injuries.” She had been choked by her boyfriend, police said.
