FRISCO, Colo.—The publisher of the Summit Daily News in Frisco says the newspaper has put its building up for sale.

But Publisher Jim Morgan says the newspaper has no plans to shut down or reduce its publishing schedule. The newspaper is not for sale, just the building.

Morgan announced the sale in Sunday’s issue of the newspaper. He said the building is much bigger than the newspaper needs because production has been moved to Gypsum. Morgan said 23 employees work in a building built for 50.

Newspaper production changes have left many papers with buildings bigger than they need. The Daily Camera newspaper in Boulder has announced plans to sell its downtown Boulder office for similar reasons.
