“I haven’t had health insurance in a long time. For most of my life, really. I don’t go to a doctor. I take vitamins. I eat healthy. I do what I can to stay healthy. But I worry that something might happen, and then what would I do?
“I wish I didn’t have to wait until I’m 65 to get Medicare. I wish the government would expand it and let anyone buy in. People who are uninsured now would do it, I think.
“What I hope is that people will start paying attention to the facts about health care and not just the fear.”
