A robber called the “Shaggy Bandit” by the FBI robbed the TCF Bank at 7203 West 55th Ave. about 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The man, said to resemble the “Scooby Doo” cartoon character Shaggy, has robbed 14 banks since June 24 — 13 in Colorado and one in Arizona, according to the agency.
The robber is thought to be in his late 20s or early 30s and has been described as being between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-10 with a slim build. He has pockmarks or acne scars on his face and usually wears a hat.
