Two busy west Denver streets are affected by water leaks this afternoon.
Denver Water is repairing a leak at West 38th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. Northbound traffic on Federal is down to one lane. Repairs are expected to be completed by 7 p.m.
A section of West Colfax Avenue has been shut because of a water-main break and will be closed until sometime tomorrow, Denver police said.
The break happened before 3 p.m. west of Raleigh Street.
Police are urging commuters to avoid Colfax from Tennyson to Vrain streets. Officers are directing traffic at detours this afternoon.
