The northbound ramp from Interstate 25 to westbound Interstate 70 was closed for about two hours after a vehicle hit an air-quality-monitoring van on the roadside, Denver police said.
The ramp reopened shortly after 5 p.m.
Detours had been posted, and police urged commuters to avoid the area.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
