A Denver man was shot in the chest last night as he sat on the front porch of a home.
The shooting happened at about 9:55 p.m. on the 2300 block of High Street, said Det. Vicki Ferrari, a Denver Police Department spokeswoman.
The shooter walked up to the porch and shot the victim “multiple times,” Ferrari said.
The gunman fled on foot and is at large, police said.
The victim was taken to Denver Health Medical Center and is expected to survive the attack, Ferrari said.
Police do not have a motive in the shooting.
A description of the shooter, who used a hand gun, was not released.
