JONESBORO, Ark.—As Arkansas State prepares for Saturday’s game at Nebraska, it will do so without two seniors.
The two suffered season-ending injuries in the Red Wolves’ 61-0 victory over Mississippi Valley State.
Offensive lineman Dominic Padrta and free safety Evan Van Dolah were hurt in the first half of Saturday’s game at ASU. Padrta was injured on a running play up the middle. Van Dolah and MVSU receiver Brandon Stargell were running full speed when Stargell made a catch and Van Dolah tackled him.
Van Dolah got up after the hit but collapsed. He was taken off on a utility vehicle.
Arkansas State coach Steve Roberts did not specify what injuries the players suffered.
