In its never-ending pursuit of the ultimate waterproof rolling duffel bag, Steamboat Springs- based Big Agnes Inc., has introduced a new and improved version of its Stagecoach Waterproof Rolling Duffel (MSRP: $150-$220, size dependent).
Laugh if you want, but the dude carrying the waterproof nylon bag with welded seams and water-resistant zippers will be laughing louder when the monsoon hits the luggage strapped to the roof of the cab. Then he’ll giggle something about the “mother of comfort” as the heavy-duty, tractor-style plastic wheels roll through the airport and he slings the bag over his shoulders using the hideaway backpack strap system.
Aside from the beefed-up zipper and wheels, the most noticeable improvements include a new flip-top lid design for easy access and an additional interior pocket to help keep your small stuff sorted. The smallest version meets most airline carry-on regulations.
