Commerce City police Thursday arrested Annette Mascarenas, 44, of Adams County in connection with a hit-and-run accident that seriously injured 17-year-old Arron Hernandez on Tuesday night.
Investigators received a tip that led to the arrest. They linked Mascarenas’ sport utility vehicle to the accident that occurred in the 7400 block of Brighton Boulevard about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Hernandez continues to recover at Denver Health Medical Center from broken bones and a brain injury.
