Tim Tebow, Florida: Although the Gators started slowly — two punts and two fumbles in their first five possessions — Tebow got on track in the rain against Troy. Tebow completed 15-of-24 passes for 237 yards and equaled his career high with four TD passes. He also rushed 13 times for 71 yards.
Colt McCoy, Texas: After a slow start in the first half, McCoy completed 30-of-47 passes for 337 yards and three TDs with an interception in the Longhorns’ victory at Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium.
Max Hall, BYU: After throwing for more than 300 yards in last weekend’s win over Oklahoma, the Cougars’ star senior was back at it. In a 51-point win against Tulane, Hall completed 24-of-32 passes for 309 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception, before leaving the game in the fourth quarter.
