FORT COLLINS — A judge has ruled there’s sufficient evidence to try a former Estes Park teacher on charges of having sex with a 16-year-old student.
Anthony Ruiz, 34, appeared in Larimer County District Court on Tuesday on a charge of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust. He hasn’t entered a plea.
Ruiz taught at Eagle Rock School and Professional Development Center at the time of the alleged assault.
The school says Ruiz has been fired.
