A counselor at a Fort Collins high school has been arrested as a suspect in multiple sex assaults of children.

Bradley Harlan Boda was taken into custody today at his parents’ home in Greeley, police said.

Boda, 39, of Berthoud works as an academic counselor at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins.

An employee of the Poudre School District since 2004, Boda has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the current criminal investigation, a district spokeswoman said.

Boda is suspected of sexually assaulting “more than four victims” over a 13-year period while employed as a youth counselor at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Longmont, according to a media release from the Longmont Police Department.

The alleged assaults happened between 1991 and 2004, police said, and included one case which stemmed from a second job Boda held as an X-ray technician.

Investigators believe there may be more victims, the release said. Anyone with information on Boda is asked to call Detective Sandie Jones at 303 651-8523.

Boda counseled more than 100 students each semester at Rocky Mountain High, which has about 2,000 students. School officials are cooperating with investigators. So far, no students at the school have claimed to be victimized, said Ellen Laubhan, a district spokeswoman.

Boda was arrested on suspicion of multiple counts of sexual assault of a child, unlawful sexual contact, sexual exploitation of children and indecent exposure, among other charges, police said.
