SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Actor Randy Quaid and his wife have been arrested in west Texas for investigation of skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill in California.
Presidio County sheriff’s officials said Thursday that Quaid and his wife, Evi, are in custody in the town of Marfa.
In California, Santa Barbara County sheriff’s spokesman Drew Sugars said the warrant for Quaid and his wife set bail at $20,000 each. The felony warrant is for burglary, defrauding an innkeeper and conspiracy.
